Mission Revamp, Re-purpose and Re-Style.

A new year brings a new direction for my lil biz. I have so much in the pipeline and thought I would share with you!. Firstly, I would like to introduce you to Allee. Isn't she stunning? Hope daddy owns a shotgun......
Allee- First model for 2013!
There will be quite a few changes this year with the focus being on " marketing, brand awareness and consistency" This seasons range will see more brights and less neutrals! Allee will be modelling some head bands for me in an upcoming shoot. How lucky am I? Unlike other shoots I have done, this one is a bit of a mystery to me. I made some product, posted it away and that was it for me lol! I have left the styling, location, editing actions, theme, out fits etc all in the hands of strangers (massive for me since I have control freak tendencies). This could be awesome or it could be a disaster heheh. We shall see!

Now onto a totally new topic-Market display!
As much as I love my current display I need to add "depth", a wow factor!
As if it's not hard enough already I have set myself the challenge of overhauling my stall using re-purposed or upcycled props! I have a pretty savvy eye when it comes to shopping and I am particularly fond of vintage items. Lucky, as I will need it! After much consideration, Pinteresting and googling I have come up with a few solutions. The new display will be vibrant, streamlined, less cluttered and more user friendly. Vintage finds will serve as holders and hand made re-purposed cake stands will give height and levels. My nana;s hand me down nest of tables has found a new home on my table. Paint is my best friend. If in doubt, PAINT IT!!!!
I was never particularly happy with my price signs but I should be able to create something pretty and hook up my printer to get that sorted. My biggest problem so far has been trying to keep size and weight down as it all needs to be transported in my teeny car! I have hundreds of ideas but need to have a good think (and possibly a trial) to see what works best for me.
Branding. To date, I haven't had a logo per say.....I am yet to find anything I like :( I have too many ideas and can't make a decision! Maybe I should do a Facebook Poll?.....When I do eventually pick one my swing tags, business cards, banner, facebook and packaging will all change and be uniform across the board.  Happy days!
I am also in the process of revamping and reorganising my craft room and let me just say, who's dumb idea was that lol!!!
That's all for now!
Live, Love, Laugh!

Get Away!

Hands up who needs a massage? *my hands are thrown up in the air in agreement to this! Time for a get away. So Beth from Beth Fernley Photography and I are off. Off to see the wizard lol, no not really but we are off to Wollongong for a few days. Kid free, husband free and armed with sunnies and good books. I had to contain myself when packing my bag tonight and restrain from throwing in any supplies or I will end up crafting while I'm away! It has been a very long time since I went anywhere baby free and I am hoping that I have not forgotten how to be just "me" and not "mummy".....
Wish me luck!

Rainbows N Ribbons Photoshoot

Today i had the honour of participating in Rainbows N Ribbons commercial photoshoot with Beth Fernley Photography. 7 beautiful girls braving the cold and the wind to model some gorgeous outfits for you all to see. Blue Raven Designs supplied the head pieces to co-ordinate with the outfits. I feel so lucky to not only be feautured in this amazing shoot but also lucky to meet Coby, the creative genius behind the name Rainbows N Ribbons. With so many models ranging between 18months-6yrs you would think it would be the makings of trouble, but noooo! Coby had organised it to a tee and the girls were true professionals despite their young ages and the freezing wind.
The location was perfect, the sun shining and everything ran smoothly and efficiently. For over 2 hours the girls smiled, giggled, held hands and posed like troopers, I take my hat of to them all! Beth worked her magic with the help of Sharon from Sharon Quant Photography who worked that diffuser like a champ! What a fabulous day with mummies rallied together to help produce this materpiece. Some pictures can be found on my facebook page but to see more please visit the pages mentioned. thanks everyone xo

They will be available in 2 sizes, infant and toddler but are quite stretchy and in some cases would fit up to 5 yrs approx.....Keep an eye out for them on the page!
